“The Olive Bunch” is our second animated 2D show, co-created by Katerina Pantela and Maria Pavlou. It’s a coming of age comedy-adventure show, for 6-11 year olds. Growing up in the beautiful Mediterranean island of Cyprus, best friends Amira, Stephano and Yani search for their place in the world through carefree and inventive play. The three buddies enjoy life in occasionally mischievous journeys, but always with some adult oversight. They need freedom to try new things, but at the same time they need guidance and support. Grandma Lola’s advice comes with love, usually in the form of folk tales that connect her - in uncanny ways - to the land of the olive grove that the family owns. There are olive trees. Sunshine. Folk tales. Comedy. Mystery.

“Magic Molly” is the first kids’ series designed and developed in Cyprus, and also the first with a global focus. Co-funded by Creative Europe/MEDIA and developed by Pixel giants with the support of Filmblades, Magic Molly has travelled to Cartoon Forum where she gained an international fan club. She has now left the nest for further development at a major international studio; a coming of age experience for all of us…
